Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information is collected when you use asharkawy.com, why it's collected, who it's shared with, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to reply to you and deliver the services you ask for.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Somatic Wellness Consulting FZC (“we”, “us”, “our”), Office C1-1F-SF5179, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, email info@asharkawy.com.

What we collect, and when

• When you contact us or join a form: the native contact form collects the topic, name, email address and message you submit, plus organization and role if you choose to provide them. The waitlist, placement quiz, fully-paid-seat application and refund request are hosted by Tally.
• When you book a call (organization consult or Executive Consulting): your name, email and scheduling details, handled by our self-hosted Cal.com booking system at book.asharkawy.com.
• When you use the Somatic Experiencing booking page: its scheduler is embedded from Acuity Scheduling. Information entered there is handled in that booking flow.
• When you pay (a course seat or a paid session): payment is handled through Stripe links or the payment flow presented by the booking provider. We do not collect card details in a form on this site.
• When you email us directly: the contents of your email and your address, so we can reply.

We do not run advertising or third-party analytics, and there is no tracking or profiling on this site (see “Cookies” below).

Why we use it, and our basis

We use each category only for the purpose connected to the action you took:

• Enquiries: to read and answer your message, based on your request and our legitimate interest in responding to genuine professional enquiries.
• Waitlists and requested updates: to send the updates you asked for, based on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
• Applications and placement information: to assess the request you submitted and communicate the outcome, based on your request and the steps needed before providing program access.
• Bookings and service delivery: to schedule, prepare for and deliver the requested service, including steps before and during a contract.
• Payments and records: to process a transaction, prevent fraud, and meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.

Who it's shared with

We don't sell your data. It is shared only where needed to run the site, respond to you or deliver a service:

• Cloudflare — site hosting, access control and the Turnstile security check used to reduce automated abuse.
• Resend — delivery of the contact acknowledgement and the internal notification needed for our team to respond.
• Tally — waitlist, quiz, application and refund form submissions. Tally privacy policy ↗
• Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention. Depending on the activity, Stripe may act as our processor or as an independent controller under its own terms. Stripe privacy policy ↗
• Cal.com — booking (self-hosted on infrastructure we control).

• Our email and hosting providers, to store and deliver messages and serve the site.

Security, form and booking providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, device information and referring page when their service loads or when you interact with it. Some providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, the provider's transfer safeguards and applicable contractual protections apply.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a small “theme” preference (light/dark) kept in local storage on your own device — it is never sent to us or anyone else. Security checks, embedded forms or booking widgets (Cloudflare Turnstile, Tally, Cal.com and Acuity Scheduling) may use their own functional storage when they load or when you interact with them, governed by the providers' policies linked above.

How long we keep it

• The Turnstile token is not retained after verification. The approved starting target is to delete any short-lived edge transport record after confirmed local receipt and reconciliation, within seven days.
• The approved starting target is to retain email delivery metadata for no more than 90 days for delivery troubleshooting, suppression and dispute handling, then delete it or reduce it to what is still necessary.
• The approved starting target is to review enquiries that do not become an engagement after 24 months of inactivity and delete or anonymize them unless a documented legal or operational reason requires longer retention.
• Waitlist and requested-update details are kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or the list is retired.
• Fully-paid-seat applications are normally deleted or anonymized 12 months after the relevant cohort decision unless you separately joined another pathway.
• Placement and quiz responses are kept long enough to complete the relevant review and any follow-up you requested.
• Booking, contract and payment records are kept for the periods required by applicable accounting, tax, dispute and legal obligations.

During this limited website preview, these reviews are handled manually. Automated pruning, monitoring and evidence of the retention schedule remain a gate before the public custom-domain launch.

You can ask us to delete information sooner, subject to records we are legally required to retain.

Security and incidents

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to limit access, protect provider credentials and reduce unauthorized use. No online service can promise absolute security. If you believe information you submitted through this site has been exposed or misused, contact info@asharkawy.com so we can investigate and respond.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email info@asharkawy.com and we’ll respond as required by law.

Questions and complaints

Start by emailing info@asharkawy.com so we can investigate. You may also complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live. Contacting us first does not remove that right.

Children

This site and its services are intended for professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site or its providers change. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
