Decide from steady ground, not from pressure.
A guided process for the big move in front of you: we break it down, ground it in what is real, and work it until the decision is one you can act on. We start with an easy thirty-minute call to see whether I can help.
A guided way through the decision in front of you.
The call is the easy part: we get to know each other, you tell me what you are facing and what you want to reach, I explain how I work, and we decide together whether I am the right person to help. The sessions are where the work happens. We break the transition down and ground it in what is real, so you move to a decision and to action with confidence rather than under pressure.
Transitions people bring
No title required. The work earns its keep when the move has real consequences.
-
Starting a business
Examine the timing, financial runway, responsibilities, market conditions, and the risk you are prepared to carry.
-
Moving into a new field
Look at what transfers, what has to be learned, what the move costs, and whether you are moving toward something or away from something.
-
Taking on a larger role
Prepare for wider responsibility, a larger team, and the shift from doing the work yourself to setting the conditions for other people to do it.
-
Growing into a new market
Examine operating complexity, leadership capacity, financial exposure, and what must change before the business grows.
How we work in the sessions
The work runs on business judgment, with a somatically informed way of slowing things down when pressure is doing your thinking for you.
-
Name the decision
Put the actual choice on the table and separate it from the other questions around it.
-
Test the assumptions
Work through pricing, timing, market conditions, business models, leadership demands, and what the decision would require in practice.
-
Work with the pressure
When pressure is high, we slow the conversation enough for judgment to return. This is a practical part of decision-making, not therapy.
-
Compare risk and reward
Make the trade-offs visible, distinguish reversible from irreversible moves, and identify what you still need to know.
The call, then the sessions
Two steps. An easy conversation first, then the work itself.
-
The call — thirty minutes
We introduce ourselves. You tell me what you are facing and what you want to reach, and I explain how I work. Nothing to prepare.
-
A decision, together
We end the call clear on what you need and on whether I am the right person to help. If I am not, I will say so, and that is a fine outcome.
-
Sessions — one hour each
We break the transition down: the money, the people, the timing, the obligations, the capacity, and the unknowns.
-
Ground it in what is real
We test the assumptions, compare the paths, and slow down when pressure is doing your thinking for you.
-
Move to action
Each session closes on the position reached, the questions still open, and the next two or three actions.
You leave with a decision you can act on, made from steady ground rather than under pressure.
Experience from decisions I have had to own
I am an engineer, and a partner and owner in five running businesses across consulting, software, wellness, engineering, and education. I have priced services, written financial proposals, negotiated procurement, and signed budgets. Fifteen years in complex institutional rooms and my Somatic Experiencing practice shape how I think with people under pressure.

Before you book
Short answers on preparation, fit, and what happens after.
Do I need to be a CEO or senior executive?
No. The move defines the work, not your title. It is useful when you are starting a business, stepping into a larger role, changing fields, or growing what you already have.
What kind of work is this?
Executive consulting: business judgment, decision analysis, and a somatically informed way of working with pressure. It isn't therapy, and I don't make the decision for you.
What happens on the first call?
We get to know each other. You tell me what you are facing and what you want to reach, I explain how I work, and we come to a conclusion together about what you need and whether I am the right person to help.
What does the $35 cover?
The thirty-minute introduction call. It is a separate first step, and nothing further is booked until we have both agreed it would be useful.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Use the link in your booking confirmation. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the call starts, you receive a full refund of the $35 fee. Later cancellations and missed calls are reviewed case by case, but a refund is not guaranteed.
What happens after the consult?
If we agree that I can help and we are clear on what you need, you can start booking regular sessions from there. If we agree that I am not the right person, I will say so on the call and the consult ends there.
What do the sessions cost?
Regular sessions are $100 for one hour. Payment is made online through the booking page, the same way as the consultation. There is no package you have to buy in advance.
